Mazda5 - the current generation of the car, which has already become the third in a row, was made in the style, which was called Nagare, which means "flow" in Japanese. The name is not accidental, because the body lines of the "five" really resemble a flowing stream of water.

Despite the fact that the Mazda5 is a seven-seater, its dimensions do not go beyond the C-class. So, with a length of 4,585 mm, the “five” is only 5 mm longer than the Mazda3 sedan. The minivan is 1,750 mm wide and 1,615 mm high.

Trunk volume in a five-seater configuration (with the third row folded) is 426 liters, and in a two-seat configuration (with the second and third rows folded) - 1,485 liters.

It is noteworthy that the middle row seats can be moved back and forth in the range of 270 mm, and the middle seat can be completely transformed into an armrest, a table, a string bag or removed, thereby freeing the passage to the gallery.

Improving the chassis, the engineers set a goal to make the car's reactions smoother, so that both intensive acceleration and intensive braking would not bother the passengers of the "five".

The Mazda5 is supplied to the Ukrainian market with a single power plant - a four-cylinder aspirated gasoline engine paired with a five-speed automatic.

Ground clearance Mazda5 is 130 mm. Serial production of the car is established in Japan.
